On June 3, 2002, Phil Collins joined Ozzy Osbourne and Tony Iommi to perform Black Sabbath’s classic “Paranoid,” during the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. The event, which took place in Buckingham Palace Gardens, was meant to celebrate 50 years of achievements in pop music. Elton John and Paul McCartney were among those who also performed on that day, in a show that was officially called Party at the Palace. 12,000 people were allowed inside Buckingham Palace Gardens to watch the concert, while a million more took in the show from the adjacent streets, via giant video screens.
